Spring Gardening

My goodness the weather has been all over the place around here. Nevertheless, the garden is coming along and things are popping up all over the place! The beautiful purple lilacs are blooming, the tulips are up in the yard, the rhubarb is growing like crazy, our snow peas and kale have just come out of the soil, and the lawn has been mowed twice now. Sure signs that we are headed towards summer!

The weather in our part of the country has been like a see saw – up and down, up and down. We mowed yesterday for the first time, and it needed it. The weeding is done – that is the spring weeding. The weeding is never really done is it? 🙂

Loving the spring weather – especially this year – think the winter might have had something to do with that? 😉
