Slow Cooker Hawaiian BBQ Chicken
Need a super easy meal during the weekdays? This is it! This slow cooker dish is easy to put together and tastes out of this world with the sweet tang from the pineapple and the zip from the barbecue sauce. The slow cooked chicken simply falls apart and is perfect served over white rice or on buns for a BBQ chicken sandwich.
8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
12 ounce can pineapple chunks with half the juice
Pour the BBQ sauce over top and add the pineapple chunks and half the juice.
Cover and place on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, use two forks, to shred the chicken. Serve hot over rice or on buns with additional BBQ sauce.
