Thanksgiving – Things I am Thankful for

We have been hectically cleaning the house and setting up rooms, beds, and extra place settings to make sure everyone Happy Thanksgivingcan fit and be comfortable. We have made several trips to the store and have been cooking and baking up a storm. With Thanksgiving in only a day and all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season fast approaching, I began counting my blessings. Family has arrived and some are still arriving today so the house will be filled with laughter (possibly a few arguments but that goes with the holidays) and lots of food and fun. I took some time and sat down today to make a list of things I am thankful for. It was a nice way to relax for a few minutes between cooking and vacuuming and it also made me smile to think of all that we are blessed with. I hope everyone is able to have a happy Thanksgiving this week and is able to share love, joy, laughter, and food with family!

My List:

A house full of friends, family, and animals.

Good jobs that provide food and security for our family.

Farm animals that bring joy and smiles to our lives.

Farm fresh eggs to bake with.

Food in our freezer that came from our garden.

My grandmothers recipe box.

Good health for the whole family.

Eggnog 🙂
