Homemade Pizza from the Garden

I have been waiting for this moment since I began planting seeds in January! The tomatoes have begun to turn red! We have garden pizzasbasil that is beautiful. Yellow squash is being picked daily. Swiss chard is plentiful. The banana peppers are just ready to pick.

This means……..GARDEN PIZZA!!!!!

We fired up the oven last night, made pizza dough, and then went out to the garden to pick vegetables for the pizza!

As we have a few picky eaters we kept it pretty simple on one pizza with just sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and banana peppers.

The second however was absolutely amazing and my favorite kind of pizza….loaded veggie.

It doesn’t get much better than a garden pizza. A nice way to enjoy the fruits of your labor. 🙂
