Picking Peaches

Who knew you could grow peaches in Vermont! We have had this tree for over ten years and for the past four it has proudly produced many pounds of gorgeous peaches!

One year we sadly had a branch snap with all of the weight of the peaches. Today we make sure to brace branches that look heavy and pick the peaches as they ripen.

So far these are about the biggest peaches the tree has produced….must be because of all the rain this spring. They have terrific flavor and sure are juicy!

On warm sunny days, just walking by this tree you can smell the peaches as they ripen!
