The Fruits of Our Labor

We have a variety of fruit trees and bushes on our property and we love the anticipation of homegrown farm fresh fruit each summer!

Right now the blueberries, red currants, blackberries, and raspberries are ripe and ready to pick.

The peach, apple, and pear trees have lots of fruit that should be ready to pick in the coming month or two.

The vineyard out back is doing well considering the harsh winter and large amounts of rain we have had this year. We did lose about thirty plants but were able to take cuttings and root those which we planted a few weeks ago. There looks to be a lot of grapes that will need to be picked later this summer!
