Chocolate Toffee Cookie Bars

Here is another great holiday treat to add to your dessert table! These bars are a crowd pleaser and taste like aChocolate Toffee Cookie Bar cross between a warm cookie and a candy bar. We stick pretty close to our recipe but the nice thing about these bars is that you can add whatever toppings your family likes the best. Variations can include peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, coconut flakes, candy coated treats, or anything your taste buds enjoy. With the condensed milk, these crunchy and gooey bars will be sure to disappear fast!

For the crust:

1/2 cup of melted butter

1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs

For the topping/filling:

1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup of white chocolate chips

1/2 cup of chopped almonds

1/2 cup of chopped toffee bar like Heath bars or Score bars

Heat your oven to 350F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of your baking dish.

Pour the entire can of the sweetened condensed milk over the crumb base and even out with a spoon.

Sprinkle your chocolate and white chips, nuts, and chopped toffee over the condensed milk.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the graham cracker crumb base is lightly browned. Once cooled slightly, cut into bars and serve either warm or at room temperature.
